Below are some of our most frequently asked questions. Still can't find the answer you are looking for? Contact us, we're happy to help!
What is the difference between a monogram and embroidery? TOP
Embroidery is the stitching. Monograms are the three letter initials.
What is the correct order for initials? TOP
When placing a monogram order, please be careful to provide your initials in the correct order. If your name is Brooke Mary Jones, please provide your monogram as BMJ. We will place your initials according to the monogram style you choose. In traditional monogram styles, the largest letter in the middle represents your last name. If you want your name or a phrase embroidered on the item instead of a monogram, please indicate this when you order. If you want text divided into two lines please let us know at the time of your order.
What is monogramming etiquette? TOP
When monogramming for women, the last initial is placed largest in the middle of the other two letters. When monogramming for men, all three letters are the same size in the correct order of first, middle, last. When monogramming for newlyweds, traditionally the monogram consists of the woman's initials with her new last name in the middle. It is also very common to use his and her first initials and their last name in the middle.
How do I know how my monogram will look? TOP
We will select the best placement of the monogram unless otherwise indicated by you.
