All of Poppies prices include the cost of monogramming, which is all done within our store located in the Birkdale Village, in Huntersville, NC.
We will gladly take monogramming orders over the phone. When placing a monogramming order, please be careful to provide your initials in the correct order. If your name is Brooke Mary Jones, please provide your monogram as BMJ. We will place your initials according to the monogram style you choose. In traditional monogram styles the largest letter in the middle is your last name. Also, when choosing a name or phrase please provide which letters you would like capitalized. We will monogram capital and lowercase as you provide the information. If you want text divided into two lines please let us know at the time of the order.
The following is a little monogramming etiquette:
Monogramming for women: the last initial is placed largest in the middle if the two other letters.
Monogramming for men: all letters are the same size in the correct order first, middle, last.
Newlyweds: Traditionally the monogram consists of the women’s initials with her new last name in the middle. It is also very common to use his and her first initials and their last initial in the middle.
We will select the placement of the monogram on each item unless otherwise indicated.
